Guidelines for training program in Biotechnology

1.

Minimum number of students in a batch will be 20 and maximum number may be up to 30. If the minimum numbers of students are not available the students will be clubbed with the next batch.

Selection of students will be on the merit basis, the students qualifying with minimum 55% marks in the last qualifying Examination are eligible to apply for training program.

The Principal/HoD of the respective institution will be responsible for selection of students as per criteria No.2

The list of selected students shall be duly forwarded by Head of the Institutions to the MP Biotechnology Council, 26, Kisan Bhawan,III rd floor, Jail Road, Arera Hills, Bhopal, with a copy to the Institute selected by MP Biotechnology Council for training.

5.

The training will be organized at the Training Institute decided by the Council from time to time.

The registration fee of Rs. 1000/- per selected students will be collected by the concerned Principal / HoD of the respective Institute and the total amount will be sent to the Institute imparting training as per decision of the Council.

The Principal/University will take an undertaking from the student that the student will be required to attend the training as per the schedule decided and up to the last day. In case he/she leaves the training in between, no certificate will be issued.

8.

If the student leaves the training in between, he/she has to pay the entire amount incurred by the Council for the training for which he/she shall give an undertaking to the Principal/HoD of the parent Institute. In such cases, the amount shall be refunded by the parent institution to the M.P. Biotechnology Council.

9.

University Teaching Departments and Government Colleges will be given preference for selection of candidate.

10.

The Council will bear the Training fees only. Rest of the expenses namely travel, Lodging & boarding (wherever applicable) and any other expenses will be borne by the candidate themselves.
