For propelling Biotechnology sector and upsurge in Biotechnology Industry, the State is in urgent need of skilled and trained manpower. High quality manpower will bring about a revolutionary change in the BT sector of the State by providing quality education in area of Biotechnology. The Council strives to raise the quality of Biotechnology education in the State by way of initiatives like:
Organizing Training Programs for:
- Students of M.Sc/M.Tech. Biotechnology: To develop their skills by providing trainings in specific and diverse areas of Biotechnology and making them an ingenious resource for Biotechnology Industry.
- Teachers teaching Biotechnology: To augment their skills and knowledge with current trends and techniques in Biotechnology.
Instituting IMBIBE Award: Fellowship scheme for students of the State for pursuing PhD/Post Doc. and enhancing their repertoire of knowledge.
Institute of Life Sciences & Technology: Establishment of pristine National level educational hub ILS&T at Bhopal for imparting quality education and research.
